The other day I spotted this product at a general store and was immediately wooed by the idea of removing nail paint using these solution soaked pads (30 pads for Rs 120). So I picked it up and decided to give it a shot.
Curious about the ingredients, I decided to get in touch with the Company and they responded promptly stating the following ingredients - Ethyl acetate, butyl acetate, Glycerin, alcohal, vitamin E, water.
Today I finally gave it a test time, in my car running late for my dentist appointment. I opened the little box and took one wet pad that smelled of yummy strawberries. Unlike other nail polish removers, the solution feels a little oily (in a good way, actually), therefore, nails don't feel dry after use. Product information says that one pad is enough for 10 fingers, which is true, as i was able to remove nail paint from all my fingers (10 in number, LOL).
There is one flaw, however. After applying on one hand, the removal process slows up considerably and more usage is required to get the desired result. Same goes if the color is too pigmented or dark. Here, I have used it to remove 4 coats of Faces Canada 02 Aureolin shade. Additionally, it can get slightly messy at times and I had to wash my hands to get rid of that oily feeling. Moreover, it stung on a cut that I had on my finger. (sob sob) !
again. However, this certainly does not mean that I would be switching from my old-school Acetone liquid bottle!
